Fanks My Love!
I did not go deer hunting.
Instead, I went to Jackson and test drove the Yukon. It is really nice and everything we are looking for. No rust on the body, has a hitch (but no bar), tow hooks on the front, and a carrier rack on top. The engine is quiet and looks clean under the hood. It only seats 5. The front two seats are heated! It has 100,181 miles on it. The back seat has a separate climate control and the middle seat in back pulls down and has cup holders in it. It has a CD player and awesome radio with remote for use from the back seat, but no cassette player. The bumper says the max trailer load is 5000 lbs and the max tongue load is 500 lbs. The trim package looks cool. The only things negative I can find are it belonged to a smoker (ashes still in ash tray) but it doesn't stink, it has one scratch on the passenger side door, the driver seat has a tear in it (but the heated seat works great!), and the underbody has some brown color to it (maybe rust?), and gas mileage is terrible at 13 MPG. You can check it out here http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/noframes/15527.shtml I pulled up a CARFAX report and it indicates it has had about three or four owners, has not been in any car accidents, and was a corporate fleet vehicle from 2001-2002.
Kelly Blue Book says if it were in fair condition it is worth $7,415 and if in good condition worth $8,230. They are asking $7,200 and I think they can get it. Should we offer $6,500? I think it is worth it!
So whatcha think?
I'm going to get Punkin so please call me on the cell phone.
I love you!!! Love, Wiffee

Ever since we bought the van from the Credit Union as a repo, I have been watching for a 4 wheel drive vehicle that we can pull our boat and the whole family in comfortably. Well, about a month ago, one showed up on the repo page. I called and asked them if they would take less than the $7,200 they were asking and they said no, not at this time, because they think they won’t have any trouble getting rid of it at that price. I have been checking the website every once in a while to see if the price dropped or if it got sold. After the deer accident, I starting thinking about the money we are going to have to put into the van very soon. The transmission is going (about $1,000), the fan barely works and we need it for heat, the front tires need replacing, and now it needed body work. Right after the accident, I began asking God what does this mean, what do you want me to do? Immediately I thought about that Yukon for sale. I wanted to make sure I was thinking straight, so I continued to pray about it. I could not get the Yukon out of my head.
Barry asked me what I wanted for my birthday. I jokingly said “A Yukon.”

She went on to tell my sister a few days later:
